The Crab without a Shell
Sometimes life is just rough. It leaves you raw, naked and vulnerable on every side. Everyone can see you. Most misunderstand you. Some blame you for your inconvenient difference. Some awkwardly avoid you. Some fear and despise your uncomfortable nakedness. Others, like gulls, peck you to their advantage. If you could just put on some normally fitting socially protective clothes it should help. Hopefully. Maybe. Not really. That is so painful too. Masking is exhausting and sooner or later it fools no one and you pay severely with your health and loss of support.
